Hitosuji
RoundOS had the privilege of working with Japanese ink artist Arata Igarashi on the visual language of our new site.
Igarashi’s practice sits between calligraphy, documentary drawing and systems observation. Rather than depict objects, he follows the forces that move between them: memory, context, hesitation and choice. He calls this language Hitosuji—one line. We wanted to share the story behind the illustrations, and the journey that led him to the green point.
